Altered-Progressive Sequences are everywhere. Cross your fingers. Watch water come to a boil. View clouds going by. This could be the stuff that dreams are made of; the stranger the dream, the more altered the sequence. It’s all about the scrambling of an otherwise rational, gradual sequence of visual elements, whether by one degree or by several.
It’s your turn! Create your own version of an altered–progressive sequence through the vehicle of your choosing: photography, painting, drawing, digital tools, mixed media, etc.
